East Grinstead, once again, held its Classic Motor show along the Historic High Street on Sunday, 1st September. Around 100 vintage and classic cars (and one bus!) arrived in glorious sunshine, the oldest of which was a 1904 Stanley Steamer, closely followed by a 1915 Model T Ford. A fantastic display of vehicles that stirred the childhood memories of many that came to enjoy the day.
Thank you East Grinstead for coming out and supporting our Classic Car Show.
Thank you to all the volunteers, including the East Grinstead Community Bonfire team, who made it possible (we couldn’t do it without you).
Thank you to St John’s Ambulance for providing an excellent first aid service, to RH & RW Clutton for allowing us the use of their forecourt, to SERV Sussex and East Grinstead Fire Service for coming along and allowing us to experience their vehicles and learn about the invaluable work they do.
Finally, but by no means least, thank you to all the wonderful car owners who gave their time and allowed us to see their fantastic vehicles.
