Visit East Grinstead

A walk along the historic High Street will take you back through 800 years of Sussex heritage.

As well as one of the longest Medieval High Streets, consisting of half-timbered buildings and open hall houses in the UK, East Grinstead is the gateway to exploring West and East Sussex as well as Kent and Surrey.

We love our town and are passionate about living and working here and enjoying the many leisure opportunities around town and on our doorstep. Visiteastgrinstead.com is a service offered by East Grinstead Town Council and is a non-profit making web site run for the benefit of residents, local businesses, and the wider community.

East Grinstead Town Council has a Town Information desk which is based in the public library in West Street.  Here you can find information covering community support groups and what’s on in the community, through to tourist and travel information.
