Wakehurst invites people living with dementia on an accessible guided walk to explore the gardens through sight, smell and touch.
Led by our expert volunteers, you will learn about the wonderful plants, people and places that make up Wakehurst.
Walks last one hour and are open to those with dementia plus their families, friends and carers.
When: Last Tuesday of every month. 11am-12pm.
Where: Tours start by the plant centre at the front of the visitor reception entrance.
A Wakehurst staff member will meet you there.
How to register:
The walks are free for Community Access Scheme and Wakehurst members, non members may attend but will be charged entry and parking. You must register your interest- by emailing wakehurstcommunity@kew.org or phoning 01444 894066 and asking for The Participation Team.
