The East Grinstead Wine Appreciation Society is dedicated to bringing together wine enthusiasts in a welcoming and relaxed setting. Members gather once a month to explore and celebrate wines from a variety of regions. Each meeting focuses on a particular wine or wine-producing area, allowing for both informative discussion and, most importantly, enjoyment among participants.

Society meetings are held monthly in comfortable surroundings, fostering a convivial atmosphere. Every session features the presentation and tasting of different wines, complemented by engaging conversation and shared experiences. Please note that there are no formal tastings during the summer months of June, July, and August.

During each evening, members enjoy wine alongside cheese and pâté, served mid-way through the event. This approach encourages a light-hearted and sociable environment, making the appreciation of wine both accessible and enjoyable for all.

To further enrich members’ understanding and enjoyment of wine, the Society organises additional trips and social gatherings throughout the year. These activities provide further opportunities for learning and camaraderie.
