Address:
Marsh Green, Edenbridge, Kent TN8 5QU
Description:

Swallows Lodge is a newly converted three bedroom barn conversion in the heart of Hoopers Farm, sleeping up to 6 people.

Downstairs there are two double bedrooms, both with ensuite shower/bathrooms, and an open plan kitchen/sitting/dining room with a woodburning stove; perfect to cosy up in front of while perhaps roasting some chestnuts you have gathered during an autumn walk down one of the many footpaths that lead from the farm. The kitchen is well equipped with an induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. The utility room has a sink, loo and washer-drier.

The stairs lead to a mezzanine sitting room and beyond is the third bedroom with two single beds and ensuite shower room.
There is free Wifi throughout and smart TVs in the sitting room and both downstairs bedrooms. Upstairs is a TV free zone!
Heating and hot water is supplied by the farm’s woodchip boiler and we have solar panels on our cattle shed so our electricity is local and green!

Outside there is a large flagstone patio with table and a chairs, overlooking our garden (currently work in progress!). If it is barbeque weather we can supply you with a barbeque, the fuel (locally sourced of course) and our home produced burgers, sausages, steaks and chops.

The garden leads straight onto a wonderful network of footpaths which can take you all the way to Newhaven on the Vanguard Way. Walking here, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is a joy. You can stroll for miles without touching a road, through the most beautiful scenery. Turn left outside the cottage on path 399, keep right and take 396 through the woods, right again at Home Farm and you will end up at The Plough pub! Cycling is good too. Ashdown Forest, where you can follow in the footsteps of Christopher Robin and Winnie the Pooh, is a long walk or a short drive away.

One well behaved dog is welcome but must be kept under control when outside as we have sheep and cattle on the farm.
There is so much to do in the area, with Hever Castle, Penshurst Place and Chartwell to name a few, are all within a short drive. Lingfield Racecourse and the British Wildlife Centre are even closer.
